EDINBURGH ANTIQUES FAIR CLOSES

March 2022

It is with great sadness that we have to announce the closure of the Edinburgh Antiques Fair.

We had anticipated that costs from all quarters would increase, and had factored this into our own costings. When everything was put together the figures did not add up, meaning that even if we were to sell all the stands in the hall we still would not have broken even. We therefore had no option but to close the fair down.

Having spent ten years of the past twelve years building the fair up to where it was before COVID, it is extremely upsetting not to be able to continue.

We have spent some time ringing around all those exhibitors who were booked for the May fair to personally let them know the situation; if we have missed anyone please accept our apologies.

We wish to thank all exhibitors past and present and also all visitors for their support.

We will be looking for another venue but this will not be a quick fix. We will, of course, keep you informed of future developments.
